We just wanted to let everyone know that we’ve added a CO2 filling station to the Eagle Rock store. We know many of you have been looking forward to the option of getting your tanks refilled on weekends.
We should have a forum on here so we can share recipes, links, articles, DIY stuff, etc…
Thanks for the suggestion, Jeremy! We’ll see what we can do.
Question for anyone. Does anyone know of anyplace around that can do the welding required to build a 2 port keggle?
Hey,
How does one go about becoming a member?
I’d very much like to be a part of your brew club.
Thanks
-Dennis
Hi Dennis,
You just need to come to our next meeting (which will be March 3rd) to sign up. The yearly dues are $24, and you must be a homebrewer or fermenter of another kind of beverage (wine, mead, sake, etc). Looking forward to meeting you in person soon!
Thanks,
Josh Jensen

Dear Members of the Yeastside Brewers Club,
my name is Alessandro. I am an Italian HB and Doctoral Researcher at Leeds University, United Kingdom. With my colleague Vita we are very interested in examining the US Homebrewers’ Community. The objective of this survey is to evaluate the role of entrepreneurial characteristics and behaviours in the intentions of starting a business.
We would really appreciate if you could kindly fill in our short and interesting survey by following this link
https://www.survey.leeds.ac.uk/homebrewing
We would also like to ask you to circulate our survey among the members of your club or putting it on your discussion forum if you have one.
By helping us with this research, you will provide a vital contribution to thetheoretical and practical advancement of the entrepreneurial marketing field. For further information do not hesitate to contact me at the email address bnabi@leeds.ac.uk
Thank you very much for you kindness
Regards

Does anybody have Danny’s address for the meeting this weekend?
Brett, we are sending out the info tonight, and will also post it to the website home page and the Facebook page.
Greetings Brewers!
My name is Brandon, and I’m currently pursuing my MBA from Cal State Fullerton. I have been working with Thomas over at Eagle Rock Home Brewing Supply for a social media marketing plan for one of my classes. We are trying to grow the web traffic and exposure of Eagle Rock’s Facebook, Twitter, blog, and also an e-mail newsletter.
From talking with Thomas, I understand you all take your beer seriously, which I highly respect. I wanted to reach out to you to see if you would be willing to provide your e-mail addresses for the newsletter we will be releasing in a few weeks. It will contain holiday beer info, as well as relevant industry news, and other interesting content.
I also posted the links to the new and improved twitter and facebook pages below. We will be updating regularly with fun facts, upcoming promotions, and anything we find cool about beer. If you could take 5 minutes and “like” and “follow” those pages, we would really appreciate it.

Thank you so much and enjoy some great holiday beers!

Where can I take a BJCP cert class in Los Angeles?
I would like to join your organization, will you send out a reminder with the address for the February meeting. What is the usual protocol for bringing beers? A variety six pack or more? Is the beer i bring limited to the specific topics or just what we have brewed recently. Should i bring snacks? How big is a tasting glass? I know, so many newbie questions. Looking forward to the conversations. Cheers, JM
Hi Jeffrey,
The meeting announcement will go out next week for our Feb 2 meeting. Unless you object, I’ll sign you up for our mailing list. Amnesiacales@yahoo.com?
The usual protocol for bringing beers is (1) preferably homebrew, (2) commercial samples are OK, but should coincide with the style of the month (in the meeting email), (3) however many you bring is up to you (most people bring 1 or 2 bombers, or even an occasional keg) (4) there will be a sign in sheet for the beer where you can list its details and tag it. The homebrew can be any style you want. there are club only competitions where certain styles are designated. You’ll learn more at the meetings. Don’t sweat it too much =).
Snacks are always very welcomed. The club brings some, but our members generally contribute at every meeting as well. If the meeting is at a pub, bar, or similar business, bringing food is generally not a good idea, as we like to encourage people to buy beers and food from the establishment. This keeps us on good terms with them for future meetings as well as being just the right thing to do.
Tasting glasses are typically about 8-10 ounces. We have some for sale at the meetings, $8 each or 3 for $20.
Hope to see you soon. – Jerl.
Thanks, I have a meeting in the morning but will make the announcements at two. It is amnesticales@ yahoo.com just for your records.
