Our October meeting is on the 8th since some members will be at GABF. If you haven’t gone before, it is a must do event. Start planning for next year!
We’ll be checking out the brand new craft beer bottle shop and tasting bar, Sunset Beer Company in Echo Park. General Manager Alex Macy will be hosting us. You can find more info about the spot in the LA Weekly write up, and Caroline on Crack, and more!
The style of the month is Porters but feel free to bring any type of homebrew to share and discuss with your fellow brewers. For license reasons, we’ll need to keep the homebrew on the side patio that will be reserved for club members. Don’t bring commercial beer examples to this meeting there are more than 200 for sale!
LA Beer Week is nearly upon us! Check the events section, there will be some great events every day (including a Musical Beer Crawl in Echo Park on Oct. 11th.) The LA Beer Week Festival at Union Station on Sunday the 23rd can’t be missed.
Can’t wait that long? You can go meeting up with the Pacific Gravity homebrewers at the Long Beach pub crawl on Oct. 2nd. Take the metro Blue Line!
