Our humble club, The Yeastside Brewers, turned two years old this month!
Two years old? Second anniversary? I know, the math is confusing, but let’s celebrate nonetheless!
When, you ask?
Friday, January 25th, 2013
7:00PM – 10:00PM
Our celebration will be held at Link N Hops in Atwater Village , and their address is 3111 N. Glendale Blvd., Suite C, Los Angeles, CA 90039 . They have a small parking lot, decent street parking, some of which is equipped with parking meters (on Glendale Boulevard), and some nearby free lots. Here is a link with a handy map (and mobile app) to the nearby parking lots that are free.
I kindly encourage you to read the signs carefully so you are not inadvertently ticketed. While they are strict in Atwater, the parking rules are thankfully on the “easy to understand” end of the Los Angeles spectrum. On the bright side, you may even find that some of these spots are not enforced after certain hours. Just double check to be safe!
The menu consists of sausage links, both meat-lover and vegan (all are pretty good in my opinion), burgers, fries and sauce.
For members in good standing (i.e., membership dues paid, waiver signed), attendance is free of charge. For all others, attendance is $10.
If you will attend, ***you must RSVP.*** This is simply because I have made some special arrangements with the Link N Hops manangement. Just send and email to president@yeastsidebrewers.org with the relevant details about your attendance. With an RSVP, I’ll have a $2-off drink ticket for your first beer!
And . . .
The club will be ordering a platter of assorted sausages to share, though I make no promises that this platter will last all night!
We will have a home-base set up in the back left of the restaurant, and the rest of the place is, of course, open to your patronage.
